These Terms & Conditions apply to the supply of all goods and/or services by us (Alite Fabrications PTY LTD - 92 627 288 117) to you.Securing your build spot
Upon accepting your quote, a non-refundable $1,000 + GST ($1100 Inc GST) deposit is required to secure a build spot
Please be aware of varying lead times, please get in contact with us directly for confirmation of these times. All lead times are an estimate only and can fluctuate.
Payments and Additional charges
Below is a break down of payments for your build
$1,100 non- refundable deposit is required to secure your build spot
30% of total Invoice amount for Materials & Design
50% of total invoice amount for completion of Fabrication
20% of total invoice amount for Paint/Powder coat and Installation completion
An additional invoice may be issued for certain appliance and 12v supply.
Payment: Unless otherwise specified in an agreement, all final balances and payments shall be made prior to collecting your vehicle.
We will retain ownership over any goods we supply that form part of your canopy, until we have received payment in full. We may at any time until payment is received hold your vehicle or remove the product.
Payment Method: All payments are to be made to us by direct debit to the bank account nominated by us or as otherwise agreed by us in writing. All funds must be cleared prior to pick up.
Price increases
Quotes are valid for 30 days and once accepted prices may fluctuate depending on worldwide events, global circumstances and supply chain disruptions beyond our control. Alite will be open and transparent with any changes to your quote, explaining the reasoning behind changes.
While we understand you’re ready to proceed upon quote acceptance, Scheduling may not allow for this, and pricing may still be subject to change prior to commencement due to external factors as listed above.
Prior to your canopy being designed & manufactured, Alite Offroad will be in contact to confirm all quote details are still accurate and discuss any changes which are required.
Any changes that are made will be confirmed with a quote update in which you must accept with an email response, nothing will be finalised until Alite Offroad has received this confirmation from you, any verbal changes will not be valid.
Please be aware any changes after the above confirmation will result in additional charges and may not be possible if we have already progressed past that stage of manufacturing.
Delays
We will not be liable for any delay of the goods and services to you and will not be liable for any losses or expenses accrued due to delays.
Warranty- Effective as of January 2026
All manufactured products by Alite Offroad are subject to a 5 year warranty. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and the original installation only. This warranty applies to fabricated products only and excludes (but is not limited to) any of the following: hinges, latches, locks, seals, struts, drawer slides, rubbers, tanks, pumps and all hardware. These items are excluded by our warranty but may be covered by the supplier’s warranty under certain circumstances but will need to be assessed by the supplier. We will not be liable for any failure that occurs as a result of the failure of these components. In most cases warranty claims for third party products cover parts replacement only. Replacement parts will be supplied to the customer and any related labour or installation costs carried out by Alite Offroad will be charged to the customer.
Our Warranty Does Not Cover:
Normal wear and tear
Paint fade, chips or scratches
Improper maintenance
Any goods or services that are supplied or carried out or provided to you by a third party
Alterations to goods which we were not completed by Alite Offroad
Damage or failure caused by unusual or non-recommended use
External influences such as accident, fire, extreme weather, vandalism or climatic effects such as damage caused by salt water, sand or mud.
Insurance
It is the customers responsibility to maintain valid insurance cover that permits Alite Offroad staff to drive and operate the vehicle for the purpose of testing, moving or performing modifications. Alite Offroad will not be responsible for insuring your vehicle while under our care. Alite Offroad recommends notifying your insurance company and adding the canopy to your policy, so it is covered from when you leave the premises.
Installation of New Canopy
Pre-Delivery Check List Before We Receive Vehicle
Clean Car: A cleaning fee will occur if vehicles are deemed dirty and unworkable. Our staff work under your car and need clean and clear access to all parts, electrical and any mud or debris delays our process.
Removal of existing Tray/Tub
Tub Pick Up: The tub will need to be picked up no later than the day vehicle is collected. Storage fees or disposal fees will occur if pick up is delayed unless agreed in writing.
Tub Removal: We take no responsibility for any damaged or missing parts on the removal of tub or existing tray.
Tub Disposal: If you elect for the tub to be disposed of Fees can occur.
Canopy Installation & Collection of Vehicle
You will be advised prior to dropping off your vehicle, how long Alite Offroad will require it. However, Fitment can take 3-4 days depending on complexity of your build and sometime longer depending on what electrical wiring is required. Once installation is complete you will be shown how to use your new product and any questions will be answered. Any claims for damage or quality discrepancies must be discussed during this time. Claims after this period will not be processed or accepted. Once goods are collected, we take no responsibility for damages or quality discrepancies.
Sensor’s Relocation
As part of the services provided by us, we may remove cameras, reverse and radar sensors. We will use reasonable skill and care to attempt to reinstall such equipment in the same general location, but we cannot guarantee that such modifications or re-positioning of equipment will be exactly within the original vehicle functions. We accept no responsibility for any faults, risks or failures due to the relocation or re-positioning of this equipment.
Maintenance Requirements
Checks: It is good practice to regularly check all bolts and mounting points to make sure they are secure. Check lights and operation of lights.
Cleaning: NO harsh chemicals or abrasives materials to wash. No pressure washers as high pressure can cause damage to paint and seals.
